In other words, once we die, our eternal state has been decided by whether we chose Christ or not while we were still living and breathing. On page 63 the author writes "Knowing that it is God's will to save any man who has not crossed that mysterious boundary known as the deadline, may the Church pray for the salvation of a specific individual in the assurance that he will be saved?"
