Once again, another court case is on the books regarding separation of church and state. This time due to high-school officials taking down a copy of the Ten Commandments from a student’s locker. Fortunately, this was reversed and the student is now allowed to post the Commandments on his locker again.

Human Rights – Abortion

These rights, according to the Declaration of Independence, are given to us by our Creator. The list in the Declaration is not exhaustive, as indicated by the preceding phrase "that among these are."

Prayer in Public Schools

Since I've apparently been stuck on the "separation of church and state" thing these past couple weeks, I figured why stop now? Besides, it's given me a lot to think about as far as what constitutes a violation of the First Amendment and what does not. Perhaps it's just me, but it seems as though there is a lot of gray area when it comes to this issue.

Hawaii Governor Rejects Same-Sex Civil Unions Bill
