The Gentile Nations
The origin of nations was the scattering of the descendants of Noah and Babel (Genesis 11:1-9). The nations are divided into three classes – Semitic, Japhetic, and Hamitic. The Jews are not numbered among the nations (Numbers 23:9). There have been but four world wide kingdoms – the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Grecian, and Roman empires. These are to be succeeded by a final one.
